I decided to create this blog to make this information / misinformation easily available and shared. It is not my intention to promote nor debase this information nor those who hold it in a special place. I will simply put it here and perhaps illuminate it a bit for those who are interested.
I was a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints stationed in Bolivia in the mid 1980s. A paper was popularly exchanged among the missionaries discussing the symbolism in the Incan artifact called Puerta del Sol (Door of the Sun) situated at the ruins of Tiwanacu.
